“Leap and the net will appear.”

I am living proof that it's never too late to find your calling, your authentic voice. In my years working in communications and marketing, I excelled in business and technical writing. But my deeper creative practice was on hold. Now I'm immersed in the joys and challenges of self-expression. I encourage all aspiring writers, artists, musicians, dreamers to shake off your self-critic. Even taking a small creative risk can help you overcome the common blocks of inertia and fear. As Julia Cameron says in The Artist's Way, "leap and the net will appear."

Unless noted, photography is the work of Candelin Wahl

 ABOUT THE WRITER

I do my best writing when I'm willing to wade into the muck of tangled relationships, revere the spectacle of nature, and stand up to forces that threaten our citizens and planet.
